Tapes, more tapes... and a photo or two...

Just when you thought Garett had unearthed the last of his Sentinel-related memorabilia, he has turned over his complete collection of the original, uncut and beautifully clear episodes of The Sentinel.

Produced, of course, in VHS NTSC (U.S. region) format, each episode is on its own tape, many of which have never been watched, some of which may have been watched once or twice. (We at Cascade Convention had to do some quality control, of course, watching "Iceman" to make sure everything looked just fine. It does!)

The episodes are the complete director's versions submitted to the network, and each tape has Garett's name on it (they were his own personal copies of the series). Most of the episodes also have weird little network broadcast things on them as well - like an extra copy of the credits with no sound. We're sure if anyone's a network type out there they can explain why that was necessary, but in the meantime, it's kind of a neat extra!

Note: The spine and main labels do carry the Paramount logo on them; we have manipped the logos out on the auction images by request. All winners will receive the tapes in their original condition, with the Paramount logos in place.

So what's being auctioned?

The tapes, of course!

We're auctioning them off in sets of two tapes - we started with Season 1, have completed Season 2, some of Season 3, and some of them. Oh, and we've got one extra tape to add into the mix... Garett's own copy of the Gag reel, which includes a few bits we've never seen before!

An important note: Seasons 1, 2 and 3 are complete sets; alas, Garett apparently managed to lose three episodes from Season Four. (We'll provide more details as to which tapes are available in Season 4 when we get to that season).

And if that wasn't enough... they can be autographed!

Yes, as an added bonus, Garett has kindly agreed to sign any or all of the tapes for the auction winners.

SO! This is a terrific opportunity to own pristine copies of the show. Even when we get all the eps on DVD (and we're not giving up hope!), these VHS tapes will still be collector's items because they belonged to Garett himself.

And what else do we have?

Glad you asked. We've also got a couple of very rare promotional photos of the lad. And yes, as with the tapes, Garett has offered to personalize the photos for the winners.
