Ya know, you'd think going undercover would be a
pretty hard thing to do, eh? There's all that 'forget your real name'
thing. Make sure you maintain your cover. Report back to the boss in
secret - and don't get caught! And that's just the bare minimum. Then
there's the whole 'try to find out something useful that will bring
down the bad guys'. Pretty complicated situ, eh? So who in the heck
would make the job that more difficult by falling in love with the
bad guy's daughter?
Yep, you guess it. Our own Sentinel of the great city
of Cascade. And then of course the good ol' sidekick jumps in on the
action. There's no show without Punch, right?
And then no sooner than the undercover op is over,
then our boy - the older one *g* - has a wee incident of road rage
that mushrooms and threatens to interfere with another undercover
operation. (We're getting the notion these undercover gigs are a bad
idea!) Blair does his Texas accents, while Jim tries to learn the
accent by watching Bonanza. Ahem. No comment. Much manure winds up in the loft.
(And won't that just thrill a certain Sentinel.)
Continuing our auction of a set of tapes that are rare pieces of original Sentinel
history, this is yet another set of two video tapes from a collection
produced for, and owned by, Garett Maggart, he who was Blair
Sandburg.
Produced, of course, in VHS NTSC (U.S. region) format, each
tape contains one episode. Many of the tapes from Garett's collection have never been watched, some of
them may have
been watched once or twice.
The episodes on the tapes are the uncut versions submitted
to the network, and the majority of the tapes have Garett's name on it. The
tapes also carry the studio logo on the labels (though these have
temporarily been manipped out of the auction images).
The next set of two tapes we are offering here contain the
episodes "The Inside Man" and "Vendetta". The cardboard cases for the tapes are in generally
good condition, though they do show a little wear from their life on Garett's
shelves. *g*
Finally, each tape is currently unsigned, but on
request will be signed by Garett for the winner before they are
shipped.
This is the only set of these two episodes from
Garett's collection we have - so get 'em while you can!
